¶ Overview
Guide will walk you through step by step instructions for manually loading a new file of leads into a new list using the pre-defined naming convention and sequence assigned to your account (aka client ID).
¶ Required Naming Convention
Each Dial Fusion client has an assigned 3 or 4 digit client ID that is the basis for the preferred naming convention in the system. Standard format for all new Lists is the client ID followed by 01, 02, 03, etc. Example, if your client ID is 8835, the first Campaign ID will be 883501 and the first new list ID for this campaign will be 883501. Each additional list should follow the sequence in order, 883502, 883503, 883504 etc. These naming rules assist the Dial Fusion support team in managing the back end administration and to quickly identify which Campaigns and Lists belong to which client.
¶ Manually Load New Leads
- Login to ADMINISTRATION with your ADMIN type user ID at https://app.dial-fusion.com
- Click
LISTSfrom left side Menu
- Click to
ADD NEW LIST
- Enter
LIST IDin first open field. Be sure to enter the correctLIST IDper required naming rules & sequence from your other lists. Example, XXXX for your client ID and then 001 or the next number in sequence. - Enter
LIST NAME, exampleDFXXXX <NAME>where the X's are your client ID and<NAME>is your file name - OPTIONAL - Enter
LIST DESCRIPTION. Recommended entry is the date leads are loaded into system, exampleNEW LEADS LOADED MMDDYYYY - Choose
CAMPAIGNfrom the drop down list of available Campaigns - Check Y to make list
ACTIVEor leave N forINACTIVE
- Click
SUBMIT - Once new list has been created, choose
LOAD NEW LEADSfrom left side menu. NOTE: If you do not have permission to access this screen, contact your Dial Fusion account team
- First step is to click
BROWSEto find the file you want to load from your computer
- Once file has been added, use the drop down in
LIST ID OVERRIDEto find and select the new list you just created
- Choose
CUSTOM LAYOUTso that you will be able to map fields based on the layout of your lead file
- Choose
DUPLICATE CHECKfrom the drop down based on your preference. The Most used option isCHECK FOR DUPLICATES LOADED IN LAST 30 DAYS IN ALL CAMPAIGN LISTS
- Click the
USA-Canada Checkdrop down menu to select preferredAREA CODE,NANPA PREFIX, orOTHERoption where the system will verify and validate all phone numbers inside your list during the load process. Invalid phone numbers based on yourCHECKselection will NOT be loaded into your list
- Click
SUBMITto go to the layout/field mapping screen
- New screen will allow you to map fields from your file to the default fields in ViciDial. Go through and make sure to map each field accordingly. It is easiest to start with the first column in your file, and work down the list to ensure all fields are properly mapped.
- Once fields have been mapped, click
OK TO PROCESS
- The process to load may take seconds or up to a few minutes. Once complete will display results that show total number of
GOODleads loaded into list along withBADleads that are either duplicates based on chosen criteria OR invalid phone numbers or area codes. Do not leave this page while loading is in progress, otherwise you will be unable to see the results of your load!
CONGRATULATIONS! NEW LIST IS LOADED AND READY TO BE DIALED!
